Haviland Collectors Internationale Foundation
Haviland Collectors Internationale Foundation (HCIF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study of porcelain and pottery made by the Haviland families in Limoges, France. Founded in 1990, it is an international organization of Haviland collectors and dealers formed to increase the knowledge of its membership and the public-at-large regarding the history, production, significance and appreciation of the ceramic wares produced by the various Haviland companies. The vast production of the company founded in 1842 by David Haviland has led to a myriad of interests for the collector. HCIF members are enthusiastic collectors of Haviland dinnerware (60,000 patterns), stoneware, earthenware and ceramic sculpture pieces.

  • HCIF publishes a quarterly newsletter and hosts an annual conference.
  • HCIF promotes museum exhibitions of Haviland and local study groups.
  • HCIF research scholarships are available.
  • HCIF has developed resource and reference materials.
